Does TagFix work offline?
Yes. You can capture defects, write daily reports, sign handovers and create PDF reports without a network. Only the automatic weather lookup and purchases need a connection.
Do I need an account?
No. TagFix works without registration, email address or password.
Where is my data stored?
On your device, in the app’s private storage. Project data leaves the device only when you share a report or export a backup. On an iPhone or iPad it is also part of the iCloud device backup if you have turned that on.
How do I back up my data or move it to a new phone?
Export everything or a single project as a ZIP file and import it on the other device. The app reminds you when your last backup is more than a week old. The backup is not encrypted, so keep it in a safe place.
Can several people work on the same project?
Not at the same time. TagFix stores its data on one device and has no team sync. You can hand a project to another device as a ZIP file and send reports as PDFs.
Which devices does TagFix run on?
On iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later and on Android devices with Android 9 or later. The app is built for phones and also runs on tablets.
Which languages does TagFix support?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Polish. You can set the language of a report separately from the language of the app.
What does TagFix cost?
TagFix is free for one active project with up to 25 punch items and 10 diary entries. The Project Pass removes the limits for one project with a one-time purchase, and Pro covers unlimited projects as a subscription.
What stays free?
Viewing your data, creating and sharing PDF reports, and ZIP backup and restore. That also holds after a subscription has ended.
How do I cancel Pro?
At any time in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play. Your data stays readable, and you can still export it.
Does TagFix collect data about me?
Only if you agree. Crash reports and usage statistics are off until you turn them on, and they never contain names, texts, photos or places. The app shows no ads and uses no advertising ID.
Does TagFix replace legal advice?
No. TagFix helps you document: a closed day is locked, later additions are marked as addenda with their time, and signatures are stored with name, role and time. Whether your records meet the requirements of your contract is a question for a lawyer.
